Known as "white tuna" on the east coast, escolar is rich in healthy fats and delicious as sushi/sashimi. It can also be broiled, grilled, baked or sautéed. Our frozen escolar is a product of Interstate Seafood and originates from Korea. It is also known as super white tuna saku. Use caution when eating escolar for the first time. Escolar may cause gastrointestinal problems for some people. We recommend you eat small amounts (less than 4 ounces) at a time.
